I am Karissa Pearl, a digital artist with a diverse creative portfolio, encompassing digital artwork, drawing, photography, and motion design. My practice spans both commercial design and graphic creation, with consistent exploration of digital and physical artwork. I blend artistic innovation with functional design, creating pieces that visually communicate a product/service or my ideas and feelings on a particular subject.
I use a SONY NEX-5r to capture photography and work primarily with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Audition. I embrace traditional drawing methods, including graphite, colored pencils, charcoal, and ink, to bring my ideas to life.
Music plays a pivotal role in shaping the emotion and tone of my work, as I seek to translate the feelings a song evokes into visual form. At the same time, my environment inspires me to incorporate elements of my surroundings into my creations, allowing my work to reflect both the inner and outer worlds that influence me.
I’m currently preparing for my summer internship with the Jacksonville Sharks and plan to graduate from Florida State College of Jacksonville in August 2025.
